How in the world did Tom Williams become a commentator for canoe/kayak slalom?

He’s already stuffed up The Great Outdoors with his slow careful speech, now he’s gone and ruined a sport that needs credibility and professional exposure. He embarrassingly sounds like he’s got a book of token “well done” sayings in front of him. He’s an absolute tool.
